PS2s for £50

Great deal...in fact, more PS2 sold than Wii or PS3 in Japan up to 18th Feb, prove that you don't need next gen console and there's plenty of life in old dog with its hugeeee user base (100+ millions) that cannot be ignored by developers.
 
its good that games are still been released for it too


we've had ps2s in the house since release but there still a whole lot of top games i haven't got round to playing :eek:
 
shame the games are still not too special at the moment :p

can buy a 360 core and a ps2 for 200 quid if your quick tommorow though :eek:

Got one. Was first in the queue due to my fast walk to the entertainment desk. Didn't quite break out into a sprint like I had to for the 360 on launch, but it was still busy. They all sold out within minutes of opening. They also had a couple of xbox's for £50 too, but i think thats close to normal price so I didn't bother.
 
They'd got some in Sheffield. Not bothered with one myself cos I'm wanting a PS3 anyway, so not much point for me. Still a very good price though.
 
Had stock in Milton Keynes @ 0810 today. 85 units the bloke said, silver ones still £99.97.

Norwich had 60 in stock @ 0713 as my brother got one.

Both stores said they expect to sell out very quickly.
 
This would have been a good deal if i was in the country and had the cash to afford one :) Need one to replace my bros old fat ps2 that coughs splutters and wheezes when you try to play games on it!

Hopefully this offer will be more common when the PS3 is readily available in the UK.
 
Me and my housemate called up our local **** last night to see what the deal was - they said they were going on sale at 6am.......so 6am this morning we got up and drove to **** to get our £49 PS2's!!

I think in total there were maybe 5 customers in the store at that time and we were the only 2 there to buy PS2's.

As soon as i got home i just went back to bed!
 
So is this offer still on?

edit: Just rang the 3 closest stores and they are sold out in all of them, oh well. If anyone sees them still available at their local store for £50 buy me one and I'll give you £1 on top for your trouble :D
