PS3 > 360

I was looking inot getting a ps3, however after reading this thread think I am going for an xbox elite.

Xbox seems the way to go for gaming, ps3 has iplayer going for it!

Some really good deals to be had on xbox at the moment it seems...
 
Buy both, read comparisons. Buy whatever is better on what platform. If exclusives obvious you know the deal.

this is what ultimately will make people decide. Both consoles offer the same experience but if all your "mates" are on one then no point really in having the other.

In your case though if you don't want multiplayer (paid service) then i'd stick with the PS3.

i have mates on the 360 but hardly game with them. i have made more friends on forums like this that i can play against and have fun

Reliability, in my opinion, is a non-argument nowadays.

Exclusives are few and far between so multiplat games count the most. And all are better on the 360. FACT!
