It works, i am playing GoW2 on the US PS3, but through HDMI the jaggies are really bad. I might fire on my advanced scart see if it is any better though.

Are the US/Jap PS3 100% bc? Because of the inbuilt PS2 chip?

They are virtually 100% backward compatible for their PS2/PS games. At the moment it's only us who has to make do with emulation.

GTA Vice City don't like running through HDMI, keep getting balck screen on startup loading screens so had to blindly press buttons, once in game its ok, but looks pants on HD-TV and i ain't swapping leads and Tv's all the time just to play PS2 games
