Mine is still working after 10 months on the same cheap as chips aa batteries.
it's not like you'll be mashing the buttons for hours at a time like the controllers...
unless you like watching the action manually frame by frame
yep but you don't have to wait for it to eject or bend down to press the eject button you can do it from the comfort of your sofa then simply take the disk out.
Major annoyance is lack of on/off button though anybutton switching on was designed my a childless boffin.
