PS3 Folding@Home Team

I have had my PS3 folding for team 10 for the last 3 days now. I am amazed at how quick I have shot up the table in such a short space of time!

Cheers

I don't fancy leaving my PS3 on folding away, though I do run it on the PC.

Will be interesting to see how it compares though...

I left my PS3 folding constantly for 4 days last week while i was away, didnt get any hotter or noisier than it did after the first hour. I wouldnt think leaving it on folding for a few hours or so will hurt it. Its got good quality cooling thats probably why although it gets hot its only hot around the vents and nowhere else, so the cooling is doing a good job of drawing heat away from the CPU/GPU etc.

Yeah thats true, i've notice around the vent under where the power button is is the only place where mine gets hot, and the fan is almost silent. Really nicely designed bit of kit imo.
