Regardless of what you would do with your money, that is not what the OP was asking. There was absolutely no need to turn this thread into another console debate yet again - I haven't been posting as much as I used to on here because of the same old arguments being made by the same old people and turning every bloody thread into flame wars. I know you weren't saying anything negative about any console but your post was definately baiting as it was nothing to do with the OP's topic and really wasn't called for.
There really is no need for it IMO, and the sooner people stop baiting with posts like your original one then the sooner this forum will become a friendlier place again.
I fully agree with the above statement.
The OP had explained why he has all those games and with that many playing then that makes it more than fair enough but that is absolutely NONE of our business!. Also he only came on in a friendly manner to get an online game or two with some people hopefully so there was no need to start arguing in this thread and ruining it for the OP as this will scare away people rather than attract. I hope all the bickering as well as my post will be removed so the OP can continue with his thread as he's done nothing wrong.

people are going to comment on it, of course they are. come on, buying that many games for the ps3 is a shocking poor thing to do. unfortunately whatever the op's intention was, somebody will comment on it. maybe nokkon shouldnt have said anything, but what he said wasnt incorrect. i dont even own an xbox, but i can tell you now id soon be spending the money on xbox games than i would on my ps3 lol
5 people playing on it which is just under 10 games per person. It's not that much now is it?.

doesnt really make any difference to me lol. what nokkon was trying to say is that its a lot of money to spend on a large amount of average games. i love my ps3. its the best and most important bit of av kit released in a long long time. but lets face it, the majority of the games are pretty poor.

I don't play consoles unless my m8's bring their 360's as I only love PGR4 and Assassins Creed and that's on it's way to PC. I do love me some PGR though but to go buy a 360 for just one game isn't what I'd do just now but never say never.
I do understand where Nokkon was coming from, yes. Just his tone was a little bit negative the second time around.
Also the OP was just being nice and I was hoping that the thread would get cleared up and let it run free without all this arguing going on as it's ruined his thread for some online fun. Just take the console war bits out and then it'll look spiffing chaps!!!

There was no baiting, just straight up common sense. It's mind boggling someone would waste so much money! He should consider me his financial advisor and I just gave some free information

I clearly can't construct sentences, I don't have a wide knowledge of the gaming industy, I have no knowledge of gaming engines, I have no knowledge of game limitations both software and hardware related, I have poor usage of grammar, I don't have a BA degree nor do I speak any form of common sense.

Seems to me that if we all stopped eating so many pastys, then we could afford a lot more games!

And also that album by his own name is excellent. Cornish Acid is a great track! *Goes off and finds album!* As a side note, if you like Aphex you may like Venetian Snares, you probably already no of him anyway.

Maybe i have missed the point then...
I only have one game on the PS3 and that's uncharted so i can't do MP in that unfortunately.
I do agree with a lot of what nokkon says though don't get me wrong.

he is god...heres a time and a place for recommending a 360 and its not in a thread started by someone who enjoys there ps3 enough to own 42 games for it . people should know better...
