I don't like it much at all. It's a poor Battlefield 2 for me, and with the lack of communications or people talking it doesn't seem social.
You haven't played it lately then mate, its hard getting people to stfu at the moment lol.

I'm gonna get back into this once the rumble controller arrives. Can you imagine the rumble when you guys fly into my airmines
My only problem with the comms (aside from the fact Sony seem to have mis-gauged how many people would own a Bluetooth headset!!) is the push to talk, I hate it!! Although in some games on the 360 where it is a free for all it gets too noisey and you don't know who is atlking and people shout over each other.
I'm a fussy git!

Is this noise thing a big issue? How noisy is it compared to the original PS2? Because I have no problems with that and don't even hear it unless i'm right next to it.

If there is one thing I'd praise the PS3 for it's how quite it is, anyone that thinks it's loud must have very sensitive hearing or they have a broken one![]()

The main problem is that other than DiRT, all the ports i have played look and run better on the Xbox360 in my humble opinion of course.
Indeed, while downloading stuff i switch the monitor over to my PC, the first few times i have to check it was still on it was so damn quite!!If there is one thing I'd praise the PS3 for it's how quite it is, anyone that thinks it's loud must have very sensitive hearing or they have a broken one![]()
I still say Sony should release some kind of Mic (I'm not sure if they have yet) as it would solve a lot of issues.
Though being honest i'm not a big fan of Mic's in games, people just put me off and annoy me.
ok post all your objective research Nokkon...... -its your own opinion- dude...
Given youve got both x360 and ps3 this shouldnt be that hard to do. It might involve recording side-by side comparisons in good quality vid format for each and every single game and uploading somewhere but hey you're the one whose making claims (and repeating them ad nauseum) so back them up could you.
Ive played Oblivion on both systems ps3 version for me is much much better. Cleaner, crisp graphics, less loading times, less pop-up. Just better.
Ratchet & Clank looks okay, although incredibly linear and for a lot of the first hour, on rails (literally). It's funny and quirky, but as a platform game it's quite dull. I'm a massive fan of platform games, Jak & Daxter being on of my favourite games around. Short of the humour, R&C really doesn't offer much and it's a million miles from revolutionary, you could infact argue it's not even evolutionary.
