2, Nope i wont bother, as it is too expensive.

3, Cheers but i am sticking to/buying an xbox360 instead.

4, I will get one if the price of ps3 is slashed

Already got a 360 and not really interested in anything that Sony has shown so far so I wont be getting a PS3 on launch. However I probably will end up buying one next year.

I'll definitely be pre-ordering the Wii though :D

You're kinda asking several questions at once...

Q1.

How has E3 effected your descision to buy a PS3?

1. Favourably, I was not going to buy one and now I am.
2. I was always going to buy one and I can't wait now.
3. Still undecided, and still not swayed either way.
4. I was never going to buy one, and I feel I've been proved right
5. Unfavourably, I was going to buy one, but now I'm not.

Q2.

If you were going to buy one and are now undecided or are definately not going to. What factors changed your mind? Pick more than one.

1. Price
2. 360 game line up.
3. PS3 game line up.
4. Other

got a 360, want a wii at launch, not interested in PS3 until its sub £200 for the top model which will take a few years, having the 360 and the Wii will be plenty to keep me busy and seeing most of the stuff on PS3 is on 360 these days (GTA 4 for example) no real need to splash stupid amounts of money on a very few exclusives only, although i will be wanting to play them at a later date, MGS4, Devil May Cry,

Also gives time to iron out any problems with the PS3, cannot see wii having any as all their consoles have been very robust and reliable

I'm really stuck in two minds. I've got a PS1, PS2 and PSP. I thought I'd just get PS3 for when my PS2 dies, so that I can play my existing back catalogue if nothing else. I was also considering buying the Xbox 360 and Wii, depending on the quality of the releases for them.

After Sony's announcement at E3, my interest in the PS3 has waned. There's no way I'm paying £450 for a console (before you start buying games and accessories!) and I will instead wait until the PS3 comes down to a sensible price. That could easily be two years away.

So, now I'm very tempted to go out and buy a Xbox 360 straight away. The problem I've got is that a lot of people on internet forums have been saying how amazing the Xbox 360 is, yet the game reviews on GameTab have been mixed at best. For example, there's been a lot of talk about how 2006 FIFA World Cup is the best FIFA game ever, but the average review score is only 64%! Battlefield 2: MC has also won high priase by some forum-goers, but again the average review score is pretty poor. Even PGR3 doesn't exactly get a score worthy of splashing out £450. It seems like the Xbox 360 has been hyped up way beyond what it is.

I guess I'll continue waiting until we get a next gen console to come out at a reasonable price that has a good line-up of games. Or I'll break down and buy an Xbox 360 on the promise of PES6. ;)

Gonna get a ps3, 360 hasn't impressed and i'm not a nintendo fan. Ps3 gt should be as awesome as gt3 was back when the ps2 was released.

After Playing the Lost Planet Demo and seeing the HALO3 real time footage all i have to say is sony have a huge fight on their hands.

Microsoft has really gone to town this time :D

My plans for a PS3 have now been shelved

Why would PGR3 + Xbox360 cost £450? I'd be inclined to guess that you could pick up a Premium 360 + PGR3 for around £300

I think I'm the only one who is disappointed by the 360 :p
Lots of 360 love around here

Xbox Premium = £280
2nd Wireless Controller = £32
WiFi Adadptor = £60
12 month Xbox Live Subscription = £40
PGR3 = £50

That's a total of £462 if I want to play it online/with a mate. I'm sure you could knock off £20 or so if I bought online, but it's still a lot of money once you've bought all the accessories you need.

I'll probably get one at some point because there's bound to be a few games I'll want to play (FF probably), but not for a while.
I'm guessing probably 2 years time maybe.

My god, thats taking it to the extreme for sure. You can get bundles with all that stuff. You don't need to spend £40 on Live (I spent £20, got a game, and a headset as well as the 12 month subby).

Either way if you add all that stuff, you have to add it all to the PS3 as well. So to make things easier we usually compare at the base level. Premium + Game. The extras will be of similiar cost for both consoles.
