They really should cut the price, I got a ps3 from my bird for christmas and its an amazing peice of kit, far superiour to the 360 in terms of quality.

To little to late, Sony missed the chance to get a PS3 into many homes when people could get credit. Sony never drop the price by a lot they just bundle stuff you dont need.

It is true, bar the controllers which aren't quite as good. If we are talking in terms of phyiscal quality of the consoles themselves anyone who says a 360 is better built than a PS3 is on cloud nine.

Before this gets to slanging match ill try and get it back on topic lol. Im also sure that this bloke said that with the price Sony will release a PS3 with no BD player . So i wouldnt take it as anything like gospel, although it may happen April time after the end of FY08 in march.

All of their games are on blurays, so by removing bluray you'd end up with a PS1 with the ability to play DVDs.
