And as already said dvd and hd have name recognition to average people, blu-ray hasn't, blu-ray has a massive uphill struggle on its hands to even get the average joe know what its all about, hd has been a buzz word for the last few years, and everyone knows what dvd is all about so most people can make the hd-dvd connection.
