PS3 to blame for Modern Warfare 2 hacks - Infinity Ward...

Okay I have never EVER seen that kinda **** in the pc version of MW2. Makes the wall hackers and aimbotters look even more pathetic in comparison :p

Only safe place it seems is servers with active on the ball admins. Maybe the PS3 could have a similar system?

I saw it a LOT on the PC and I'm only a level 30 something.

since i heard the news of it being hacked i have been playing black ops story mode ... i have a backlog of games to play :D .. bf2 killzone uncharted 1/2 and gt5

do you rekon sony will be able to fix thios hacking problem had has outbroken?

or will people start jumping ship to the xbox? ..

i only swiched about 3 months ago

Yeah sure you did :rolleyes: I still play it most weeks and have done since launch prefer it to black ops. And I have never seen it. Wall hackers yes. Aim bots yes. The **** in that video no, never.

Yeah it's so common why don't you go record a vid of everyone doing the stuff in that video like spawning planes crashing from the sky and people literally flying around the map. Shouldn't take you long eh?

I am doubting you even own the game right now, bet you downloaded it on PC and played on cracked servers.

A few little points for all the people posting that this has anything to do with the recent news on the PS3.

1. This has absolutely nothing to do with the Keys being released for the PS3.

2. It has nothing to do with Sony it is the lazy IW developers that can not be bothered to move the infectable Dvars to Serverside like they did on the 360.

3.The MW2 hacks have been around since last September, it has nothing to do with any of the recent news on the PS3 it's the JB hack that lets you do this.

4. What you are seeing online are infections from a lobby not modded PS3's for every 1 modded PS3 you will have 20-30 infections if that lobby churns through players, how you ask see point 2.


and wannabedammed - what the hell does this have to do with piracy, again all anyone posts up is that word when they have little to no idea what they are talking about.

This is just a perfect example of lazy developers not giving any support to the game.

BTW my comment of the ps3 being dead was a sarcastic comment. Just to clear that up.

From what I've read, updating a new OFW from Sony won't make much difference,as it can be easily prepacked now.

Hacks on the 360 are a lot easier to detect, and MS are a lot more ban pro-active (Partially because they are detected so easy :p )

Quoted for truth, and thank God for someone actually knowing what they are talking about! It's disgusting that writers get away with publishing this kind of crap.
 
Have hacked servers on PC annoy me rather a lot.

Twice I've had it when I've been a level in the high 60s, have jumped onto a ground war game and it's been a hacked/modded game where u level up right to 70 without doing anything :(

Was annoying the first time, but the second time when almost hitting 70 was just taking the pee. Have had it happen another 1 or 2 times (forget which as haven't played for while) but was 'only' around 30 odd then.

Have also had it a few times where there have been low grav games, but overall not often.

And that's with a purchsed copy of the game :)
