PS3 UK Demand

Just got delivery confirmation from a certain station store that sells games, and they will also be sending Xmen 3 on Blu-ray for no extra cost 
This must be the first modern games console to not be sold out suring a major launch, i guess the delay was worth it.

i appreciate the re asking on the software and at least some debate regards it. Its a matter worth chatting about without the smart comments.
Theirs a few games in that list of JUMPERS that raise an eyebrow but id be hard pushed to really be interested in more than 3 or see them as console deservedly purchases.
The question is how many of those games appear to be really ground breaking and are not the same old thing with more polished graphics.
Not bashing here im stating what i believe is the case. As many of them do not even offer multiplayer or if so like Motorstorm do not offer many multiplayer options seen in other games.
Its not hard to see why PS3 demand is their but still limited, make your own decisions but i feel sales in the UK will be no different than other regions.
As for HOME has it been dated for the UK and i wouldnt hold my breath for GT5 even for 1st quater 2008.
PS danny agree had the F1 game of been really really good id of had a console on launch. Just dont see ANY KILLER game that really stands out to make me want it enough, sorry guys.

No games on the 360 broke any ground, yet there are still some good titles.
See that is the difference. Danny i believe is genuinly interested in getting a PS3 for games, He wants to know what games are on the PS3 that he would play and enjoy. You still just seem to be on a mission to say 'well it doesn't do anything my xbox doesn't do' Well fine it doesn't for you so don't buy one and don't troll the PS3 threads then, it really is simple.

Now ask yourself how many people will pay £425 for a console to play a demo?
2. A game has to be ground breaking or particulary really really good to help increase demand for the purchase this time, im sure others agree. Weve discussed the games appearing and how many are exclusives, thats all been releated to possible demand for the system. Why cant we then look at the list and think right how many of them are going to really show what this system can do.
Im not on any mission im enquiring in this thread if anyone feels like i do. Perhaps your on a mission that any time i reply you have to always attack.

Well if others have all these concerns, let them ask the questions. Why do you care other people have these 'concerns' about buying a console you have no itnerest in? I couldn't care less if anyone buys a PS3, i have one, i am happy. I don't see why you would care when you have pretty much no intetion of buying one.

No-ones saying a game has to be ground breaking to be any good but a game thats highly anticipated and perhaps is ground breaking or at least matches online capabilities of other games does help towards a reason for obtaining the console. No maybe we should all just rush out and get a PS3 because you did and if the games are coming are any good or not doesnt matter?
Here we go again saying i have no intenion of getting one when ive already stated several times i will buy a PS3. Im just not excited about getting one yet for the reasons discussed.
Perhaps some people on here that couldnt wait to get the system before it was even available in the uk having to import as soon as it was available do not represent the average guy here neither.

In Jumpurs defence, he aint having a go and even if he is.....Im sorry, but it is about time. If you dont belive me, have a look at Mr latte's post in every ps3 thread.
HIs point might be valid but it is the mannaer he goes on about stuff. Yes the ps3 can do with more games for now, buti dont have problem with that because i know it would get better. If people dont like it, then dont shell out 450 or whatever the price is...simple.
Look people can mention a lack of games in other thread and jumpers doesnt attack them its just me, yet im meant to be the one on a mission. He tries to discredit everything i say then make the rest up.
I have to admit i could get one on impulse and out of curiosity but had F1 been better with full online or GT been available i would have been sold. So far Motorstorm looks to be the best game on it for me anyways.
Also would like to hook up the Blu Ray to my new projector thats coming but we will see.

Yeah the thing is though look at what i said to Danny. If there are no games, then say 'No games for me' and move along. Don't make it out to be some huge drama and keep on going on and on and on.
I wasn't having a go, but as El said, you get a bit sick of it off the same people over and over and over again.
