PS3 Vs Xbox exlcusives

Who cares?

Metacritic shows that the exclusives on both consoles are excellent, with a percent or two, and clearly any "The PS3 exclusives are much better then 360 exclusives" is just personal preference, I find parity in both myself..

And the exclusives on PC argument, not sure I see that point, if anything you'd think PC sales would somewhat detract from 360 sales? But we are talking consoles here, I'm happy to leave it in this realm..


I don't believe the statistics, It does sounds odd that the 360 revenue from exclusives is so disjoint to the PS3, I don't read too much into it, but it seems to garner a lot of pro PS3 people in threads like this..

Speaking of which, when do we get the annual 'Year of the PS3 thread".. ;) (yes I am half joking.. :D)


Being serious for a moment, if you look at the top 10 exclusives listed above, I've realised that the 360 has a lot of highly rated FPS' and we all know they sell by the bucketload, which might explain why.. Just a thought..

I prefer the 360 just because its more of a man's console, always found the PS3 a little camp for my liking... ;)

There are good games and bad ones on each console. If you wan't the best experience buy second hand and get both.
 
Think about it " Hey guys wan't to come and play with my Playstation" or " Fancy a game on my xbox"... :D:D

Second hand would save a few quid and possibly alow the purchase of both..

As an unbiased owner of all platforms I'd find it hard to argue that the PS3 hasn't had a better selection of quality titles released in recent years.

I do agree with you to be honest, if I can own it on PC, then I'll get it on PC. Obviously that's not the case for everyone, but it does make me ask myself why I own a 360... Gears 3 I guess but still xD.

Also am I being incredibly thick? I only count 4 not 5? :< Which is obviously not a big difference or of much importance, but I am bored and curious xD.

I moved to 360 for the 2nd time in January to play Fable 3, and in that time I played some of the older exclusives that I missed the first time around.

Fable 3, however, was massively disappointing, and the massive lack of exclusives that interest me in 2011 sent me back to PS3 again. I had intended to keep both, but the exclusives schedule just made it seem pointless.

Halo 3 is on / coming to the PC? O.o. I've clearly missed this no? xD. Unless you count Halo 1 & 2 nearly the same as Halo 3 and count as the same game haha ;P.

Edit: Also Fable 2 is not on PC, Fable 3 is though mind... I counted L4D 1 and 2, Mass Effect and Gears of War 1.
