Bought a pre-owned 40GB PS3 from a well known high street store today and used the data transfer utility on the PS3 to copy everything across from my old 60GB system... took 6 hours!!!
Anyway, it's all done now but when I go to set-up the network settings it only asks for an Ethernet cable to be plugged in and doesn't give me the option for wifi???
Anyone know what's going on?

I don't think they owe me 'big', merely that my machine I purchased at £400 shouldn't loose functionality over time or that I should be made to choose between two functions. Is that so bad?
