It looks quite nice. You can guarantee it's just the same as one of the Sony Ericsson ones though. The earpiece and retainer looks quite uncomfortable (just like my Sony Ericsson one...)

it will be expensive and it will probably be released in pal regions in about 12 months!!!

The 360 wireless headset is a joke! The wired one is so much better. I don't see the big point on having a wireless headset over a wired one. Its not like the wire from the controller to your ear is a big pain.
Sony really messed up this gen, they keep playing catch up to the 360. I really hope sony have all the needed features come PS4.

We all know the japanese are generally uninterested in fleshing out the online experience supplied by their consoles, so it's unsurprising a headset was not supplied within the package. It's not acceptable over here in the west, but over in the east it's just how it seems to work (at least the PSN isn't as terrible at the Nintendo friends code system).
Western developers and investors have been knocking on the Sony directors skulls for some time now, with the release of 2.4 and items such as this headset appearing, it seems they're finally getting through to them.

That's why they just cut the cable off of the PS2 controllers.
