PS4 or XBox One for ?

Anyway the OP decided on the PS4 yesterday so this thread can be closed I guess?

Aha! PS4 wins! :D Just messin'.

I have both consoles and tbh the only reason I rate the PS4 better - at the moment - is because I rarely use the XB1 due to lack of decent exclusive game...IMO obviously.

If it is a multiplat game then I tend to go for PS4, Im not really sure why, I just do. On occasions game face-offs highlight the PS4 being marginally better so maybe thats why I steer towards it each time. However, if a blinding AAA exclusive game came out on the XB1 tomorrow then I would happily abandon the PS4 and play it.

Alas, I am still waiting for this to happen...Rise of the Tomb Raider maybe?
(unfortunately this is only a timed exclusive and is arriving on PC which is actually my prefered platform in general anyway but this is a whole other story not needed in the console section.)

But old Lara could be the answer to booting up the XB1 very soon.

(Its sure as hell not going to be that bore-fest trash called Forza 6, thats for sure!...oops, I couldnt help myself)

I have both and they both get about the same amount of usage: the PS4 for watching Sky, and the X1 for actual gaming.

The PS4 is obviously the more powerful of the two but, to my eye, the visual difference is pretty much unnoticeable.

I much prefer the Xbox controller (and the charge lasts far longer than the PS4 one), most of my friends are on Xbox, and although far from perfect, I prefer the Xbox UI - I have things set up so I know where to find everything.

I am still undecided, but warming towards the Xbox one. Does £339 for an Xbox one, Fifa 16, Forza 6 and an extra controller sound like a good deal? Or could I do better?

Thanks everyone :)

PS4 1Tb with Fifa 16, Mad Max, MGS 5 : The Phantom Pain and 3 months Now TV Entertainment Pass for £349 at Game, looks a very good deal if you want the superior gaming console :D

That's an excellent deal. Just sent that to my brother as he was only asking me yesterday where best to go grab a ps4. Three top games as well.

Am I gettingthe wrong end of the stick or is it the case that you CANNOT use standard rechargable AA batteries in an Xbox One wireless controller?
