Competitor rules

Valve has released a new update for CS2.
The game will now be able to detect and not boot when the user is using the AMD driver version which VAC believes contains the cheats.
Valve has used this to detect who's PC's were affected by the cheating driver and retroactively unbanned affected users. However the unban is only lifting the VAC account ban, so that users don't lose access to their steam accounts, but users will remain banned from playing counter strike 2 again, but they can play other multiplayer games.

Where did you get this info-your VAC ban gets reversed, but you're still banned from CS???
Also I may be wrong but I was under the impression a VAC ban 'only' banned you playing online on the title that received the ban or is it across the board, you get banned for every mp access across your account?
Don't you still have access to your Steam library to play your single player/offline titles?
The above is about general questions about a VAC ban on Steam, not to be confused with making excuses for the mess created by AMDs Antilag+ implementation.

They is no chance that valve will not unban ligit users of cs2.
I would also expect to see an increase of banned players who have cheated to try and get unbanned by acting like this is what got them banned.
I guess it all depends on how valve log this ban vs a normal exploit.
