You don't need to complete DS1 before you play the sequel as the stories aren't linked. However, I would say to complete Dark Souls 1 first, simply because it's a better experience. I love both games but the first just feels more special to me.

I thought final fantasy x/x-2 was a cross buy title, but looking up its store page it doesn't seem to be. Was this never cross buy? it should have been!

Any particular ps3 recommendations for me in that list? I am fairly new to ps3 I have added ni no kuni, demon souls and mega man to my basket so far. I was thinking of adding ico/colossus hd collection, but for 20quid i could probably get a second hand disc cheaper.

Is cross save but not cross buy unfortunately.

Super! Thank you for the reminder as well got me a copy of Persona 3, just finished P4G and wow what a game! Shame on Square-enix that stopped making games like they used to.
