I've been looking at getting a PSP or a Vita for a little while. Is any model better than the others? I had the PSP-1000 when it first came out.

IIRC the 2000 is the best PSP but you may as well just get a Vita... so much better and plays PSP games via emulation fine. Better bigger screen

I kind of worry about an OLED screen of that age now. Are the original Vita OLEDs still holding up well?

I've just ordered a new battery for my wife's PSP 1000. Hoping I can revive it. Potential for some serious brownie points

Been looking at the IPS screen replacements. The internet thinks it's worth it for the 1000. Anyone here done the upgrade?

best to mod the device. remove the umd and fit in a lipo battery, or 3dprint a back part of case to hold 18650 cells.
