PSP

Would not bother personally, will be gathering dust before you know it.

Most of the launch titles for it haven't even come out yet.
 
If you've got a PS3, then remote play is superb, be even better when the freeview tuner for the PS3 comes out.

Can stream all my media, movies, music and photos to my psp via PS3.

Check what games are out, if theirs at least 5 games you look like you want to play then get it. I bought mine and waited a long time for the games i wanted to play and they were not up to scratch.

Id compare it to the DS also.

Well your pretty lame, God of War Chains of Olympus is awesome as is Wipeout Pulse, Burnout Dominator, Patapon, Slient Hill origins, Syphon Filter logans shadow and many others.

Great for use with a ps3.

Like the ' no games on ps3 ' meme, this meme of no good games on psp is spewed by the ignorant.

And if you like FF7: Crisis Core is out soon ( my copy will be with me in a few days :) ).
 
I use mine all the time. Currently playing Lego Star Wars, GTA Vice City Stories, Winning Eleven 2008, Test Drive Unlimited, Gran Turismo 2, Football Manager Handheld 2008, EA Replay (just for Road Rash really) and I have just got God of War.
 
Got mine and for use with a PS3 its superb! Havent really played many games on it tho as i have racked up over 160 hours on FF Tactics :p
 
Never really wanted one myself.. I got few up with my ps2 too easily.. no point in buying myself one.. as it's basically the same.. just portable lol only thing I like about it is wi-fi capabilites..
 
ive got 2, a fat one and a slim one, why wouldnt you buy one? they are feature packed and perfect with the ps3, you can also do amazing things with them, that cant be talked about on this forum
 
Bought myself a PSP a couple of weeks ago from an auction site, and I'm very happy with it.

I started with a couple of the "older" games like Ridge Racer and Wipeout Pure and was immediatley impressed with the quality of the graphics, and gameplay. Ridge Racer 2 and Wipeout Pulse are coming next, I'm also considering getting a few of the RPG titles like Final Fantasy I & II, Breath of Fire III, and Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core (when it's released). I also just bought the Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children movie UMD from another site for £2 (big FF fan :p).

I guess it depends on what you're into, a quick search on any major online game retail site will show you what's available.
 
I woke up this morning wanting a psp:p so what games are worth getting then, heres a list that ive looked into and think might be good games:
Syphon Filter Logans Shadow
Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops
God Of War: Chains Of Olympus
Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions

Could you comment on the above plz

Also what accessories are a must?
I would like a bag so i can carry the psp around when im on a train. Its got to hold as many games as possible really.
 
Had mine for Christmas, and while I played it a little it didn't support WPA2 so it's been sitting on my desk gathering dust :(
 
I couldn't.. it was a present from the mrs.
