PSP

If you've got a PS3, then remote play is superb, be even better when the freeview tuner for the PS3 comes out.

Can stream all my media, movies, music and photos to my psp via PS3.
Does it stream that over the internet?

as in, if your PS3 is online at home, and you have wi-fi at work, you can watch your home media over the web?

I think so, but you might need a fat pipe to stream without frame loss.

I can stream DIVX files without problems from my PS3 to PSP but that starts to pause if I move too far from my router and that is on my home network, not even internet.

Yes, you can listen to music, watch videos, watch recorded or live TV (when Play TV comes out) and play certain games.

I mainly got mine so I could watch TV shows/films on the move, in the train/car etc... Just rip my DVDs onto my PC, then transfer to the PSP, easy peasy :)

I was looking at the new PSPlite for a while. I went upto the centre and got myself one about a month back. I play it twice a week but only because im so busy with other things.

I found just browsing the net good when in bed or on the loo and also liked playing about with remote play.

Im using it now to play those old games that remind me of when i was yonger and got the original ps1 when it first came out. I got Destruction derby and wipout and allthough the graphics on those games are poor i am loving the revisit to the games.

I got PES2008 and bomberman when i bought it and think they are both great games, bomberman for its game play and pes2008 for its graphics (but i cant play it to save my life).

all those saying it will gather dust they are true but for the wrong reason, i pick mine up for a quick game when i cant be bothered to start my PC up, have a spare 10 minutes or on the move. If im on the pc or ps3 it just sits there. If only i could some how get 50 yours in a day i would play it more.

If money is tight dont get one, but if you have a birthday comming up or a small work bonus then it is a great piece of kit to have.

My 4GB memory stick arrived today so I tried the GoW demo, amazing! So much fun, just awaiting on my pandora now and I can try some emulation. :D

I use mine all the time. Currently playing Lego Star Wars, GTA Vice City Stories, Winning Eleven 2008, Test Drive Unlimited, Gran Turismo 2, Football Manager Handheld 2008, EA Replay (just for Road Rash really) and I have just got God of War.

GT2 ??? On the PSP since when? ooh!

Is it true that UMD games drain the battery? (more so than running them from memory sticks) If so I will probably get a version of Wipeout Pulse that runs from my memory stick rather than the UMD.

It makes me think they should just do away with the UMD drive altogether for a future revision and sell the games on the PSN store for download to your own memory sticks.

I think once they can get 6+ games onto a memory stick i'd like that option

I woke up this morning wanting a psp:p so what games are worth getting then, heres a list that ive looked into and think might be good games:
Syphon Filter Logans Shadow
Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops
God Of War: Chains Of Olympus
Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions

Could you comment on the above plz

Also what accessories are a must?
I would like a bag so i can carry the psp around when im on a train. Its got to hold as many games as possible really.

you can get your games to run from a memory stick, say a 4gb or 8gb one, that'll hold tons
