OcUK or corsair? It's a HX520 and is 30 months old, just went pop when I turned the pc on.

It replaced a tagen that went pop just out of waranty yet I've got a cheap generic PSU that's outlasted both and is still in use everyday

Have a read of my experience of Corsair's Customer service.

OK, it isnt cheap to RMA one of their PSU's to Holland but its worth it in the end, you're not going to be able to buy a quality replacement PSU for just over 20 notes.
That's good news, you got a result there. Shame about the shipping but would be happy with a new replacement.

How did you contact them btw. I used their online form which said I'd get a shipping label on the next page but the page just reloads without moving to the next page. Might have to give them a call?

Tried the form again and it worked, just waiting for the RMA number.

30 months, ouch -a little too soon isnt it!
Half way through 5 year waranty so not too bad, definatly better than it dieing just out of waranty anyway.

Up untill 5 months ago it had been in a hot socket a system, so heat might have had a part in it's untimely death. Mind you I don't game so it hasn't exactly been stressed either.

Scratch that, just got an email from Corsair:

...we have received your return package... Please note we are currently experiencing delays with warranty replacement shipments, please allow for an additional 5 business days for processing.

So it could be another week before a replacement is shipped back :(
