PSU problem.

So I bough a new PSU since my graphics card would display no signal and I put my new PSU in, it is a Corsair TX550M and connected everything up and pressed the power button and nothing.

24 pin is in.
4 pin CPU is in.
Switch is on.

Specs on Sig.
 
i really wasn't trying to insult you in anyway. i work in IT support and always start off with most basic solution and never assume anything. 9/10 simplest solution is the fix.

Don't worry, I'm not offended, it actually happened to the last time haha.
 
If all the cables are connected correctly it seems like a dead one, check all the connectors have pushed in fully (I guess you already have). Otherwise try the old PSU to isolate the problem

do you have a second system you can quickly plug the 24 pin and cpu 4/8 pin connector into and turn on just to see if it will get some power?
 
Can you test the case switch or try manually shorting the pins on the motherboard.

Also try a CMOS reset.
 
Remove the PSU from the board.

Short the green wire with a black wire on the 24pin connector.

Does the fan spin up?
 
Dude, just take everything out leaving major components intact.. then press power button and tell us what happens, do fans spin, do they try to spin?Does PSU fan twitch, does CPU fan twitch? Take out HDD as well.

If everything fails, bake the motherboard with GPU in oven.
