Thanks guys- I returned it am a now deciding what psu to get. I’m on a budget, so is the gigabyte ud-750gm any good? I’ve heard it’s not explosive and good for the price, and I’ve also heard good things about the Corsair rm750e, except it can be a bit noisy. any other recommendations under £90?

Also considering I’m only using a 7700xt and an i5 12400f so the load isn’t too heavy

I've used a few Corsair PSUs over the years and never had any issues. That would be my choice of the three.

It's not bad for the price but Corsair rmx has a better warranty for an extra £10 so if you can stretch go for the rmx

Ok thanks, but I think I will go for the cooler master as it has 5 year warranty on the web I’m buying it from- and I will have upgraded others parts by then, therefore eventually needing a new psu. Just to save a bit of money
