I had a message pop up on the iPhone but the actual siren noise went through my Apple Watch. I jumped out of my skin. So I’ve no need to be worried about an attack, I’ll have died of fright.

They should have made it sound like the alarm from The Purge series of movies. Everyone would really have been peeing themselves then

Probably wouldn't have woken anyone up if it was like on my dad's phone, just a dull sizzling kind of alarm sound followed by a voice message which maybe was loud enough to wake someone possibly.

I got the alert, but the last line wasn't visible and I couldn't scroll to display it. The message ended for me with 'This is a test. You do'.

iPhone 13 on O2 and I got the alert.
My mate who was discord voice also got it. iPhone on EE.

That sound was an unpleasant piercing shriek. Which I guess is very effective for getting your attention

I didn't hear the voice but I dismissed the alert quite quickly.

Actually mine and my wife's went off the exact same time.

Interesting how some haven't gone off. Not a very good alert system if it misses out a load of phones.
