Surely location being off (as I usually do most of the time to save battery) doesn't stop this and the alert is sent to all UK registered SIM cards?
So how exactly does it work? As I'm on WiFi withNo, it’s simply sent to all devices connected to the network. It doesn’t matter whether you’re using a UK SIM card or not. It’s a broadcast to all connected devices. It doesn’t know your phone number at all.
