Does your phone still have a pull-out aerial?
Does your phone still have a pull-out aerial?
Yes.
I just only allow it to ring me and then have everything else off.
I was really excited for it too but got nothing
I am on GiffGaff and did get it. My phone is much more modern though and is using the latest Android version. Also on GiffGaff (signal usually fine here) and didn't get an alert. My phone is ridiculously old though (android 7.0), so could potentially be that too!

- iPhones running iOS 14.5 or later
- Android phones and tablets running Android 11 or later

A question I have is lets say a big event (something that would annoy millions of voters) is ongoing that would be extremely embarrassing to effectively cancel if an alert went off and it ended up being a mistake, would the people in charge have the gravitas to do it anyway regardless?
I'd like to say the answer is yes regardless of my deep-seated cynicism about the people in power, but I dunno...
