Au contraire, mon amis! Worlds Apart and The Secret of Elena's Tomb are sinfully boring when compared to their second and third albums (although I'll give you that the first one is pretty poor). It's painfully bombastic and overblown... urgh. Give me ST&C any day!IceBus said:Why just earlier stuff? Worlds Apart is phenomenal.

Quality stuff!
IceBus said:If you like Sparta you should really, really check out At The Drive-In - the band which spawned Sparta. Start with Relationship of Command (eg. Cosmonaut, One Armed Scissor, Roladex Propaganda, Invalid Litter Dpt.) and move on to In/Casino/Out (Lopsided, For Now We Toast, Chanbara, Hula Hoop Wounds)
