You might enjoy 'The secret world' when it eventually comes out, looks like a good high powered mmo.
For stretching your machine, do you like racing games ? maybe need for speed shift ?
Tomb raider underworld is very pretty & mostly platforming not war.
Stalker : Call of Pripyat - very hardcore fps / rpg.
As for space games , if you like/ accept turn based - Galactic Civilisations II - won't push your machine though.
I can thoroughly recommend xeno clash (punching) as something unique & different.

Thanks Quixote for the list, The Secret World is one MMO id never heard of and must say it looks interesting, will kee my eye on that one.

Call of priyat i will get was looking at that yesterday.

Tomb raider is one i forgot about, i played some of the original ones and loved them.

yes i like driving games what man doesnt hehe, is there one you can recommend that has an online side to it playing against others with a good rank system etc?

Zenoo clash lol looks interesting and wierd the vids i looked at shows it has some nice graphics.

One game i remember playing along time ago was systemshock 2 mix of rpg/sci fi and fps if i remember, anything like that on the market?

Bioshock is basically a watered down version of System Shock, same creator too (Ken Levine). Very good corridor shooter.

yep your right, i have absolutely no need for a PC like that but i have money to throw and was bored at the time of ordering it. I may well get into other games i just wish they werent all war games, those just really dont interest me.

Still have money to throw?
I need a new PC :p

Get Simulator Flight-X (supposed to be very very demanding)

The Good: An incredible amount of content realistic enough to be used for real-life flight training missions are a fun challenge for casual gamers and serious simmers alike the entire world simulated in amazing detail. The Bad : Low frame rates on most current-day PCs.

Sold!

Ive never tried or even thought about a flight sim, thanks for the idea.

GTA4 and Crysis will give it a good going over if you turn the settings right up (although I wouldn't recommend it, better not to go overboard and keep framerate up).

Slightly off-topic, but I think that says something about our society in general. At least western society. Too much money, and encouraged to buy things we really don't need.

I totally agree with you even though i posted that comment, ive lived in a lot of very poor countries around the world, they fix everything, they waste nothing, everything has a use or a re-use. We are a throw away society.

We are spoilt!

I occasionally think about how much it cost in materials to make my PC, but I console myself that as I don't own a car, I'm actually one of the least polluting people I know. :)

Would you pay 25% more for you PC parts if they were part of lets say a fair trade scheme?

The people who makes these parts make hardly any money.

Not sure if this is availible for PC components but i certainly wouldnt mind paying more.

If I had a rig like that, I'd play Arma 2, and Flight Sim X modded out with all the highest resolution things I could find.

Oh, and you have more money than sense.
But I do agree that working conditions to make these parts are terrible.
