Works for me on O2 Simplicity

Just a note, do a backup before you start any of this, it saves all your texts, contacts etc

Once I had put the custom firmware on I restored my backup but facebook.app didn't work so I had to reinstall that, but everything else does work.
 
When you say backup, you mean sync it? How do I restore a backup? Click restore seems to want to erase everything.
 
Plug your iPhone in.
It appears on the left, right click that and select Backup.

Upload is 100kb/sec so taking a while to upload the firmware :(
 
I didn't bother including Cydia or Installer this time. Space is limited and I'd rather not have a load of random command line jazz lurking about unused.
