Q6600 + 5870 Testing

Okay tried to get 3.6ghz even upped voltage twice from what u recommend but system froze 3 times when idle

now im at 8 x 425mhz @ 3.4ghz with ram 5-5-5-18 and looks stable so far with good temps and 1.4volts cpu

just ran crysis benchmark and the difference from my 3.2ghz and 3.4ghz results arent very different at all

DirectX 10 GAMER 1X @ Map: ambush @ 0 1920 x 1200 AA 0xx
==> Framerate [ Min: 31.57 Max: 65.79 Avg: 49.30 ]
yea that's what I found with my chip that 1.4 volts is a bit of a sweetspot

what about load-line calibration and FSB strap to northbridge??

llc = load line calibration yes enable this it helps with vdroop which is the voltage the cpu receives makes it more stable and fsb strap should be 333 or auto

I'd get the lowest stable voltage for 3.4 and then start dropping all the other volts until it fails IBT and prime then up again if it does
is a long drawn out thing takes ages not done mine yet just left it at 3.4 with above voltages

with a true black it should be good for 3.6 ghz even 1.50 volts or 1.45 I'd say if intel burn test stays below 80c it's good to go gaming temps are way less like 45-60c
