Q6600 worth the jump from E4300???

But then RAM will more then likely be DDR3 etc so it'll be getting changed. If the board won't allow me to clock it well then I'll change board and sell the old one. I've got enough parts at home to sell to raise the money so I'm not fussed.

What boards which support SLi are good clockers? Wouldn't mind a P35 board however I'm considering getting a second GTX...

The only sli boards are the 650i, 680i and the soon to be released 780i whick is just a 680i with a bridge chip.

You should see around 3ghz with your 650i board but they are not the best clockers for quads.

Thinking about changing it now. Mine only has 4 SATA ports and I have 6 SATA hard drives, and the 680i boards have 6 on them. Just not sure which one. I created a thread in the motherboard section.

If your upgrading for the future .. say a year or possible 2 then a Quad core proccessor is money well spent, but at the moment a dual core system is a good system.
