Q9550 Batch/Stepping

Idle: low 50s and under load low 70Cs

Yes, I must admit it is decent, have run it @ 4.0GHz from day 1

EDIT: I see you're in Armoy...I lived in Portballintrae as a nipper for a time.
Portballintrae is a nice wee place, do quite a lot of work down there in the summer, btw mate did you have to play about much with the various chipset voltages on the deluxe for 4ghz, im running PLL, NB and FSB TERM +0.02v above auto for my current 3.4ghz, vcore on stock 1.200. Cooled by a TRUE as well.

did you have to play about much with the various chipset voltages on the deluxe for 4ghz

These are my main settings:

Ram timings set manually: 5-5-5-15
FSB Strap to NB: 333MHz
CPU voltage: 1.35v
CPU PLL voltage: 1.50
Dram voltage: 2.0v
NB voltage: Auto
FSB Termination voltage (VTT): Auto
Load-line Calibration: Enabled
CPU Margin enhancement: Optimized
CPU Settings: everything Disabled, except CPU TM function that is Enabled.

I found when I changed my PSU from an OCZ GameXtreme 600w to a BeQuiet Dark Power 650w, the CPU required less voltage...maybe this is due to the BeQuiet being more efficient that the OCZ.

Cheers for that, ive finally got a chance to have another go at clocking mine, currently testing @3.6ghz (8.5x425) upped the vcore 2 notches from stock 1.200, and pll, 1.54, nb,1.14 and fsb term, 1.14, temps at 54-51-45-45, must see about reseating my TRUE.
