Does anyone own this particular NAS from QNAP?
If so what are your thoughts on it - build quality, noise - including vibration noise from spinning disks and frame rattle?
Amongst other things i am looking at using it for Plex - it will do hardware transcoding with the intel CPU and I have plex pass.
Anyone know how many streams it will handle around 1080p 10+ MBps?
Also I was thinking of duplicating my synology with RAID6 layout - pretty sure this is the best option rather than RAID 10 off of 8 drives.
I'm going to hopefully populate with WD Gold drives, SSDs and m2 for QTier speed up. Going to be the main NAS which will perform a daily backup to my synology 1817+ giving me pretty good redundancy.
