my advice would be to wait untill feb to see what AMD`s new B3 stepping turns out like as if its any good, that chip combined with a promised price cut should tip the balance on price to performance.
one thing i would buy now though is your ram. its dirt cheap at the moment but i doubt it will remain as cheap over the comming months.
