I'd have thought not though - at least for the time being. Still, hearing it from the horse's mouth is no doubt more conclusive...

(assuming there's none of that silly NDA stuff).

No

Its not Q3. Its a modified and improved Quake 3, so dont expect it to be compatible. Does raise some questions though, Q3 can be had for practically nothing now, so why are they releaseing an ad sponsoered free version? Atleast the free BF game is new.

Initial thoughts from me..... Its quake 3 but with no1 playing and a fiddly and annoying way of running.... Id rather have Q3

No complaints from me but I'd take them down tbh - NDAs are actually things you should honour really.

edit: Does look rather cool though.
