Quake3

Quake 3 is thee shooter, It won't die! I quite like freezetag, used to play a lot of that in Q2 along with Catch the Chicken! CTC was just awesome in Q2! very hardcore gaming. :D

I must say though i'll not miss the Demon servers, i never played on them anyway.

UberNet.co.uk servers are still running. However you are running an old version of Quake 3 :) You should upgrade to the latest v1.32 version. That has way way way more servers and way way more people playing. Also google the Q3 'OSP' patch addon and theres even more people playing there...and since you've been playing for 8 years you must be quite a decent player, you should join a team and play in the Jolt Q3 CTF league here www.q3ctfl.jolt.co.uk, the new season starts next sunday :)

Theres still a community, its just that people have updated their installations (and servers) to the latest patch, whereas you are playing on an old version of Q3.

Yeah. I have 1.32 installed and I re downloaded osp the other day as well.

Actually used be in a couple of clans for a while (SeX, {xE}) . I'm no as good as I used to be - don't play it as much any more. I see signups have finished. I seriously thought Q3TDM leagues were finished did not realise Jolt was still running - Season 24 :)
