I wonder how it will run on a GMA X3100. Also, would that make this one of the only games that Mac and PC gamers can play with each other on? Excluding games running in BootCamp.

the actual Q3A runs perfectly fine on the X3100 so I reckon it'd be fine

The website says there's a problem with Firefox. They say they've filed a bug report with Firefox, which suggests it's a problem with the browser, not Quakelive?

I just had a quick play and all seems good

Well, apart from my MacBook's fan screaming and it crashing Safari when I tried to change the resolution :confused:

Im really impressed, played smashing on my iMac fullscreen and using safari, I just had to remap the key to ready yourself from f3 to something else.

Doesn't stop me being poop at the game tho

Data is stored in HD/Users/(username)/library/Application Support/Quake Live/

Weighs in at 301mb.

Update: Works very well on my laptop, turned a few of the settings down, but runs smoothly even when I have QL + Firefox + Safari + Adium + iTunes all running at the same time

Wow, good fun that. Runs beautifully even on my Intel Graphics Mini. I didn't do too badly, considering I've not played any sort of twitch FPS for years!
