Quality of Sausage Rolls over time

They produce their own bacon, pork pies and sausage rolls. All excellent.

Butcher local to me does too. Used to have a deal on the Pork pies, but no longer do so they're quite expensive. Absolutely glorious though.

Staniforths sausage rolls for me, think they're only operating in South Yorkshire but I've not had a better one yet. I don't mind Morrisons sausage rolls but their meat can be hit or miss.

Nothing better than a half a packet of Asdas Lincolnshire sausage rolls individually dunked in a bowl of Heinz Tomato soup, instead of bread.

many local butchers do good sausage rolls. easiest is make your own with good sausage/meat.

My Sister got some sausage rolls from her local butcher for us to munch on over Christmas, bloody things were awesome. Were more like a sausage Wellington than a sausage roll.

My mum makes fantastic sausage rolls, they are very popular with the family including my nieces and most recently my daughter.

I believe she has a batch in the freezer waiting for when we next visit

I do want to give making my own ago, as mentioned its not too difficult and can experiment adding different things in to them.

Chutney is a good addition, a little stripe across the base of pastry before you add sausage meat and roll.
