I don't think action is what is missing from the film, as QOS has plenty of it. I mean we get a car chase, a bike chase, a boat chase and a plane chase!
The trouble is, it just didn't feel like a Bond movie to me.
They had a Director and Editor who have worked together in the past mainly on heavy drama stuff, then the action was all shot by the same Director who did the Bourne films. Which is why there was so much of that signature shaky camera, you can't really tell what's going on work to it.
I didn't see a point in those scenes where they kept cross cutting to something else, such as when in the theatre, they kept showing what was happening on the stage, which just seemed unnecessary.
It just seemed like it was two different films.
The plot, yes it led on from the last one, and by the looks of things will continue to the next, and I know a lot of people in the audience had no idea what was going on. Dominic Greene was probably the poorest excuse for a Bond villan ever though.
I think Daniel Craig makes a good Bond, but I'm worried if they keep up the way things have gone with this film, that it's going to loose what made it Bond in the first place.
