Not too fused about Quantum Break but it'd be great indeed if MS really gave up on W10 exclusivity as I'd love Forza Horizon 3 and Gears of War 4 on Steam.

Cannot make my mind up about this game, sometimes is looks awful and other times it looks awesome in terms of both gameplay and graphics.

This not just about "Windows 7"...

I have Windows 10 but will NEVER purchase a game through the Windows store.

UWP is just an excuse for fugly DRM.

£40 as well for the deluxe retail edition all Win 7 versions need Steam.

MS look to have given up on the Win 10 exclusives when there is so much money to be made on Win 7 + Steam still ;) DX11 only as well

I was just coming to post this :)
Shame if it's not DX12 capable but at least now it'll appear in a Steam sale one day :D
I almost bought it last month when I got Gears of War (which I still haven't touched) in the Stores Summer sale. I'm glad I didn't now,

This is what they did wrong, They should have opened the Win 10 store without all the limitations it had and I imagine it would have done fine as just another provider like Origin, Uplay etc but they tried to do what they do every time, They never seem to learn there lesson, strange.

I try to keep my games all on one platform (Steam) but as we know it's impossible, It took me literally months to get the Win 10 store to even work properly and when I finally did get it working I tried Forza and then bought GOW in the summer sale. There will be games I'll buy on it if there nowhere else but given a choice I'll always choose Steam or U-play and Origin too.

I'm looking forward to State of Decay 2 which at the moment is only a Windows store title which is a shame, But I read it will be on Steam at some point so I'll probably wait till then to buy it.

I've read on NEOGAF that DX11 is exclusive to Steam version, and that the UWP version will not be patched to use DX11 - wow.

I'd be pretty miffed if I'd purchased the UWP version thinking it was the only way to play this game on PC to now learn a Win32 DX11 version on Steam is coming as DX12 UWP does have some serious performance issues.

Not saying DX11 will help - but in some cases dropping back to a previous version of DX can help smooth out some performance issues.

Must say, I'll be adopting a full wait and see approach for all UWP Windows 10 titles before I buy on the Windows 10 store, just in case it does eventually appear on Steam.

We all know Dead Rising 3 is only exclusive for Windows 10 store for a few months, and then this head to Steam, but upon saying this, I somehow doubt Forza or Halo will be hitting Steam..

Likewise, I'll buy games on Origin as I have little choice, same goes for Windows 10, but given the option I try to keep the bulk of my PC purchases on one place - this being Steam for me.

I guess so, but I also did mean dead rising 4 which is I think 90 days exclusive to Windows 10.

Also on another note -

The store page does in fact for QB state DX12 Windows 10, so looks to me like its both DX11 and DX12.

If Windows 10 store is the only way I get to play games such as Forza or FH3 then I guess I'll buy them on the platform they are on, but I'll be playing the waiting game for now, as for the time being I know that uplay games come out on both steam and uplay at the same time, and origin games stand next to no chance coming to steam, and at the moment I have no idea what happens with Windows 10 store games.

Only PC gaming eh? well we all say we like choices..!!

I bought it on release @ W10 store then fully refunded as it was in a mess. Now I will buy again the retail version comes with all those goodies for the same price so why buy from Valve!

I bought this on PC day of release and got a refund from MS within 20 minutes. Resolution problems meant it was a blurry mess at high resolutions and actually looked better on Xbox one. I bought they game on XB1 and it was £15 cheaper than it was on PC! It wasnt the worst game Ive played but it was instantly forgettable
