Quantum Break-coming to Steam & retail PC in Sept 14th!

Yeh I came into it expecting terrible performance so cant complain too much.

Just poorly optimised.

First hour or so tho seems really good, hope the story continues to be great.

Just started playing this tonight! It's.... really quite good. Weird tho as the film cut scenes are quite long.

Graphics are both stunning and console like at the same time. Seems to run well on my 970 at 1200p.

Bit of a necro, but...

I tried this game on recommendations for getting over my loss of interest in gaming. Not been able to make myself play very much, but got to about 90 minutes or so in, and...

Well, I was playing a game and now I'm watching a short film with Cedric Daniels and Mayor Carcetti in it? Huh?

I mean, I loved The Wire and all, but this is... confusing? And a bit jarring.

Is it like this all the way through?

Yeh it pritty much plays exactly like the first 90 minutes all the way through.

If you wernt too keen on it so far it won't change much.

I enjoyed it all the way through, completely unique.

I think I'll give it a bit longer. It's not like I'm playing anything else, after all.

It's very weird how it switches to live action all of a sudden, though. And some of the in-game characters are, well, not exactly picture-perfect renditions of their live-action counterparts. Not a fan of that at all. But there is some story to this. If only I could remember all the threads (yes, I'm already confused!)

Yeah after every act there is about 15-20 minute live action portion that shows some events from other character's perspective. I thought it was pretty cool, even if the lower budget shows.

Stick with it, if you like time travel stories this one is pretty fantastic. I loved the game myself and plan to replay it someday.

Been playing through this at last after putting it on the back burner while i finish other games. Stunning looking game and brilliant story telling, the thing thats really dragging it down for me are the save points. Honestly who in their right mind thought that making the player sit through an unskipable cut scene before a fight sequence was a good idea? Oh yeah i just died so i have to watch these two talk again for two minutes before i can play again.....facepalm!
