Obviously that is impossible with hospitals etc. Imagine all the looting with the police having a day off. I am working Sunday so hopefully the roads will be empty or they give us the day off.

I think the 6PM "thing" is being conflated with some of the other parts of "Operation London Bridge"
Under that plan the new monarch meets the PM and then delivers a speech to the nation at 6PM the evening following the death of the previous monarch.
