Quest 3 accessories thread

Although the facial interface linked is for a Quest 2, the AMVR interface comes with velcro side wedges which can be fitted under the outer edges of other Quest 2/3 face pads to stop any light bleed from the areas near the temples. Can be had cheaper on other sites.

Does anyone have a carry case? What’s a decent one? Don’t need it for travel really just to keep it safe in the house.

I have this in medium -

This fits a Quest 3 with a Pro or equivalent headband. For a halo band the large would be needed.

Hardshell but lots of soft material inside.

Edit - I've had it a year and I'm very pleased with it. Good quality.

Hey all a while ago (so cant return) bought AMVR Face Cover Pad Facial Interface Compatible with Meta/Oculus Quest 3 Accessories, with Soft PU Face Cushion Pad Replacement for Quest 3 and Breathable Ice Silk Cotton
Not too keen on it to be honest - still get pretty hot and not keen on the nose block thing fitting -

What would you suggest to try instead?

Tried the Globular Cluster F3 magnetic hot swappable facial interface? Includes three different interfaces with different cushions. There's an additional silicone light blocker you can buy for it too (for halo straps only) which puts no pressure on your face, or you can even go without a facial interface if you have a halo strap, which is amazing for MR.

Thanks Ill check that - I am using a rather cheap but works ok Aubika Head Strap - so Im assuming it will work ok with that.

Any issue with the magnets and light bleed without the light blocker - looks nice - just a fair few reviews stating the magnets are not strong enough and leave gaps?

There can be a tiny bit of light leakage, but they are very good at giving replacements if you have an issue. Depends how picky you are I suppose. Most light blockers I've tried let in a bit of light somewhere.

Depends on your lighting, where I play at home the GC has light leak, but I have spotlights above my head soooo

Hi all, I've just ordered a second hand Quest 3 128GB with 3rd party 8000mah elite strap, AMVR silicon hand grips, facial interface and lens protectors.

My main use will be connected to the PC. I know the official USB lead will provide a data link, but are there any that will charge and pass data simultaneously? I've seen some on Amazon with a unit power plugs into but reviews are mixed?

Sorry if this has been answered but I don't want to trawl through all the pages!

Unless you're doing racing sims, you're better off using that powered elite strap and playing wireless. I would recommend Virtual Desktop (purchased through the meta store). And then a reasonably close by router. If you can get a dedicated router, even better.

A few of us use this and can confirm it works as advertised https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0BRQHN5MY/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

While I would like to, while borrowing my brother's original Quest I switched ISP and encountered a horrible issue with the new one, where after about 3 mins in game everything would become a slide show. I've reformatted since and settings on the router have changed, but I want a fallback in case the issue still arises (though, thinking about it, I think that was only with the Oculus software, not Virtual Desktop).
