Very odd. My PayPal still says no money taken yet till the shop completes the order and yet you ordered way after me and your order is already complete.

I just phoned them to ask why no money has been taken yet and was told that the order hadn't completed because they still needed to do security checks as I'd used paypal. The woman on the phone did the checks while I waited and the order is completed now and I have a confirmation email from them. My money still hasn't been taken but she told me it's probably because it's the weekend and that there'll be no delay with the order.

I had a similar conversation. It needs to go through the credit reference checks before confirming as it's my first order so won't hear back until Monday probably.

Yeah i got in touch with them and the "Processed" status of my order that you would assume meant processing had finished actually means it's in the processing stage, it should change to "Placed" once complete.

When they announced it was a a snapdragon xr2 gen 2 I assumed it would be a fairly minor improvement on what we already had in Quest 2. That’s clearly not the case though!

As someone says in the comments it actually looks like an even larger generational jump than Quest 1 to Quest 2.

Should make for a massive improvement in visual fidelity when combined with the new pancake lenses.

TWD always did look nasty on the Q2, really impressive difference though.

Hope the Vader series and Star Wars Tales get some attention for the Q3.

This is the reason I'll get one for Standalone. Big upgrade in existing standalone games. Still waiting to see how it compares with the Pro for PCVR though.

Yup. Thank you. When I saw your post I pulled the trigger at the price with the 20% off. Got the 128GB for my PCVR sim racing. At full price I would not have bothered going for a Quest 3 at all.
Plus I got I further tenner cashback on the deal by going through Topcashback.

I think so yes, iirc you have to apply for credit first (and be a new customer).

Thanks, applied for the credit but paid in full and got the discount ok. Will be interesting to see if they honour the discount once they realise how many pre-orders they have accepted.

No problem. I think legally they'll have to honour it but it might possibly mean some of us waiting for more stock etc. All depends on their stock levels i suppose. I noticed the 512GB Q3 has disappeared from their site but the 128GB is still there so maybe they still have enough of those. On your order it should state a shipping/delivery date, mine's the 10th iirc.

Just done same with Very, good shout and a decent price with the 20% off. Had to apply for the credit account but I'll be paying it off in full once first statement arrives.

Mine says ''Order being processed at supplier'' been like that since i ordered it on Thursday...still saying delivery on 10th October.
