I need to get a new prescription as it's been a couple of years. I notice my old prescription has SPH, CYL, AXS as and also 'ADD' where it says the number 250 per eye. The VR prescription sites don't have an ADD box. I looked up ADD and it says

"Your glasses prescription may also have numbers in the “Add” and “Prism” columns, but they may not. “Add” is used when a patient needs multifocal lenses and notes how much power needs to be added to the lower portion of the lens. This allows the lower part to offer stronger magnification, making it easier for glasses wearers to read or do other up-close work."

I do wear varifocal specs and therefore presumably ADD doesn't apply to VR lenses?
 
I just hope my incoming Quest 3 doesn't have any dead pixels. As soon as i've gone through the setup tomorrow i'll be checking for them.

Blimey, I put my old prescription into all the current VR lens places listed here. VR Optician with most coatings comes to £178 + import duties (outside EU) + shipping, VR Wave was about $128, but VR Rock is only $74 with all the bells and whistle coatings + shipping. I think it's a no brainer then. I wonder why they're so much cheaper.

yep, very expensive
mine was £170 from them
ordered elsewhere for £85 delivered (see accessories thread)

Thanks, that's great! Looks like it comes from the US but says free shipping to UK which is awesome. Did you add the blue light filter? I don't know if it's worthwhile or not.
