questions about how to connect fans (sorry if its noob question)

hey guys so im going to have a 700d along with around 6 case fans, was wondering if im meant to plug them all into the motherboard to power them up? (do they even have enough fan slots?) or is there some other way?

You can use the molex connectors on the PSU leads directly as well

Is there not software as I don't have the money as well as a new case I am looking at? So can the fans be plugged straight into the PSU?

The 700D comes complete with 3 140mm fans and space for 3 120mm fans. Research the mainboard you are interested in to see how many fan headers there are on it. Someone has mentioned fan controllers.

Speedfan is software.

Some motherboards may have multiple fan headers but only allow control/speed reduction through one. I think most people use fan controllers these days.

Any particular one that I should be looking at? The case I think I will buy is the Lancool Dragon-Lord PC-K62 Mid Tower Case with Window.

I paid £5 for mine off the auction site. It's just a floppy bay sized thing that controls 4 fans.

Temp sensing ones cost more and so do blingy ones.

Ocuk do a cheap one but last time I looked it was out if stock.
