Questions about Network storage

Correct, assuming you've got your PC connected to your network wirelessly and the nas is connected via cable to your router or wireless AP.

I don't own a PS3 but I imagine it has the capability to browse network media shares.

So the NAS still has to be plugged via cable into a router for it to work even though it's wireless ?

No, it'll work with just a wireless connection. I'd still recommend you use a cable instead though because wireless speeds suck, and there's no real reason not to - you'd need to have the NAS in the same room as the router anyway to get even remotely usable speeds (even then, hi-def would struggle)

Edit: just looked at the description and the NAS you linked doesn't have wireless, so cable to your router is your only option. Any wireless devices connected to your router will be able to browse it.
