queue at hollister shop today...

have you compared an abercrombie & fitch shift to one of the hollister ones?

the material is atleast 3x as good quality not the crappy thin material the hollister brand uses

anyway hollister seems be the new apple all the idiots want them

You realised that Abercrombie and Fitch own Holister??

yea they are 2 different BRANDS one company can have many BRANDS... which is why i refered to the hollister BRAND

What?? I have a Hollister tee which is over a year old and shows no signs of age or pull, I have an a and f tee, less than 3 months old with holes appearing around the label stitched to in the neck
maybe they changed them?
my stepson has an A & F shirt from london and a hollister shirt bought locally and the A & F one is much better material the hollister one feels cheap.

hollister just seems to be the chav version of A & F

The quality of Abercrombie & Fitch merchandise is undoubtedly superior, but there's a trade-off between quality and cost. For the brand's target market (teenagers, up to 18 years old) Hollister strikes an enviable balance between the two.

My point was that, in adopting a pricing strategy aimed at such a market, Hollister sell clothes that are actually relatively good quality at prices that aren't altogether unreasonable given the production costs. I would surmise, given my personal estimations of the costs involved, that the £70 retail price of an Abercrombie & Fitch shirt is not reasonable in that sense.

It was trendy until they started opening stores in every UK city. Now every Tom, Dick and Harry are walking around draped in the stuff. It'll be the new chav brand shortly. After all, they did open one in Glasgow.

Wonder if people realise they charge a fortune more than they do in the US. Pretty flimsy, overpriced clothing, I must say.

I'd never encountered Jack Wills until I started working in St. Albans temporarily... it's awful.

For example:

FIFTY FOUR POUNDS

For jogging bottoms. That look like they're from Peacocks. It's not nice material, it's not nicely styled, the logo literally looks like it's made of masking tape.

I don't understand :/

£64
