Quick 406 HDi question

Lol, you have a 406 enthusiast friend, but choose to get battered senseless yet again on OcUK Motors. <3 iaind, glutton for punishment :D.

I'm still waiting for jamief's new Golf thread, but it looks like he's too much of a pussy, unlike your brave self.

I texted him yesterday but he didn't reply so thought I'd ask here.... I just let the crap in here wash over me - other people would get on better if they did the same!

We get a new question every week, its good fun. I fully expect you to have asked detailed questions about almost 70% of the cars on sale today by the end of the year. And if thats not fun enough, you always throw us a nice juicy nugget of lulz to digest whilst we think about the practical benefits of the cheapo banger of the moment. This week its 'I'm going to contribute to the running costs of my Dads Rover!' :p

Then you'll buy something you didn't ask about, on impulse, and regret it 2 months later whilst bemoaning the 'financial experts' who were right all along :p

considered the Xsara Estate HDI 110?

pick up a 2004 SX for around that sort of money.

no DPF to worry about, they didn't have them, probably one of the last commonrail diesels (on the Xsara anyway) to come with a SMF aswell. less to go wrong :)

Xsara estate is on the list actually, although I prefer the comfort/spec of the bigger cars. In fairness the hatch would do the job but they actually seem to be going for more than the estates, same with the 306
